So, what is this book all about?
1 in 2 people will have cancer in their lifetime, 1 in 2, yet no one is ever prepared to face their cancer and stand beside the person they love through the battle. Part memoir, part guide book from a woman in extraordinary circumstances fighting to BE SEEN before finding life-saving care. A living narrative of the battle through cancer treatment with hilarious moments you just cant make up with the power of a positive mindset to keep moving onward.

Music as Medicine
If only you knew...
When screaming silently inside, modern day mix-tapes gave voice to the battle cry needed to make it through the highs and the lows of gruesome cancer treatment. Music brought our family together when rocking out together in the car and as we walked up to the plate hitting home runs. Now I'm dreaming of the day to personally connect with these artists to let them know how they saved me. How they saved my family. And how they gave our boys a mom by their side for the road ahead.
