WE'RE ON A MISSION TO ERADICATE DEATH BY COLORECTAL CANCER FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR 20S, 30S AND 40S.

GIVE

We're breaking down barriers to be seen.

There is a skyrocketing uptick of people in their 20s, 30s and 40s getting late stage colorectal cancer threatening humankind, our environment and society at large. The increase in cancer not only impacts our society and longevity- the disease disproportionately impacts women and people of color.

Thats why our initiatives focus on prevention and community. Through awareness that sparks action we improve screening adherence using the medical resources readily available. Our community of those touched by cancer builds resilience, belonging and using our pain for purpose to help others avoid colorectal cancer in their lifetime. Because we know: being seen saves lives.

Contribute to the cause.

BE SEEN is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are grateful for everyone prioritizing our mission in your charitable giving.

Our Programs

Awareness Sparks Action

Awareness Sparks Action

Awareness Sparks Action

Storytelling is at our core --  this is why we're making a movement using art, music and entertainment break through the noise. Because stories connect and spark action to change the future trajectory of this preventable disease.

Know the symptoms and family history to tailor a screening plan with a physician.

Research & Impact

Awareness Sparks Action

Awareness Sparks Action

More young people are being diagnosed with after facing barriers to screening, treatment and intervention treatments. We support research to understand why and improve treatment options for those without access. Solutions save lives.

Access to available screening, especially in underserved communities.

Community of Care

Awareness Sparks Action

Community of Care

The community of early-onset patients and survivorship grows and so does the need for recovery resources, community connections and ways to use our unique experiences to give back. Our community is a space where we belong without shame or isolation.

Channel our pain for purpose as we support those touched with early onset disease.

People who stand alongside cancer patients experience the weight of trauma. Recovery happens in community where our retreats bring the patient and the person who saw them through treatment at Camp Be Seen in a digital-free outdoor environment.

Colorectal cancer screening minimizes the environmental impact of cancer treatment and decreases cancer-related GHG emissions. By reducing travel burden, we reduce emissions and improve access -- advocates pave the way.
